Venison

Well, DH shot two more today.

I need to start collecting venison recipes!

Deer Season

So far this rifle season my sweet DH has killed three does.

So, after grinding, bagging, and freezing the venison, here is the final tally:

42 one pound bags of ground meat
8 "nice" roasts
2 "crockpot" roasts
10 bags of loin medallions (enough for a meal for 4 in each)
1 bag of prime tenderloins (splurge meal!)

Now all the towels are in the washer under the sanitize cycle, the grinder and accessories have been cleaned and sanitized, and now I am pooped! LOL

Will be using some of the ground meat for tacos tonight. :-)

Thursday:     Crock pot night (something with chicken)
